Walsall Chief-Executive Stefan Gamble has once again spoken to the Express and Star's Saddlers correspondent Joseph Masi, and has insisted that the club has the foundations to sustain another promotion push, even if certain key players decide to depart.

Stefan, who was speaking via Express & Star, said; “If certain players do move on then it is only natural there will be a short period of transition. But overall I think the foundations are here to once again sustain a promotion push again next year.

"We’re well on track with where we want to be - In terms of the philosophy of the club whilst at the same time improving facilities at the stadium and training ground so hopefully the transition to next season will be fairly seamless.”
