According to reports on the
Express & Star website, Walsall manager Jon Whitney is exploring the possibility of signing Huddersfield Town striker Jordy Hiwula on a permanent basis.
Hiwula, who scored three goals for the Saddlers while on loan from the Terriers faces an uncertain future, with boss David Wagner last month revealing he would be prepared to listen to offers for the 21-year-old former Manchester City prospect.
Speaking via
ExpressandStar.com, Jon said;
“I would really like to do something with (Jordy), I don’t mind putting it out there. But he is Huddersfield’s player. They want to have a look at him in pre-season. Again he is one who might be looking to play in the Championship. We will see what happens.”
