The English Football League have released Walsall's fixtures for the 2016/17 Sky Bet League One campaign, which is scheduled to get underway on Saturday, 6th August.

The English Football League have released Walsall's fixtures for the 2016/17 Sky Bet League One campaign, which is scheduled to get underway on Saturday, 6th August.

Walsall will open their campaign at home to newly promoted AFC Wimbledon, before taking on Oldham Athletic (A) seven days later.

Jon Whitney's side play host to near-rivals Shrewsbury Town on Saturday, 15th October, before travelling to Greenhous Meadow on Saturday, 15th April.

The Saddlers travel to Port Vale on Boxing Day, while they'll face Rochdale (H) in the opening game of 2017 before ending their campaign at home to Milton Keynes Dons.
