Jon Whitney has spoken to the local press ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 Play-Off Semi Final First Leg clash with Barnsley, and has insisted that he isn't feeling any added pressure ahead of one of the biggest games of the season.

Speaking via the Express & Star, Jon said; "The pitch is still the same, the ball is still round, there are two goals and it is still 11 versus 11. It’s all about individual players. It is the external influences that change in play-offs. But coping with that is what our players are really good at.

"It’s about focusing on us, not what goes on the outside and that is what we did at Port Vale. It is about our game plan and going out and doing what we are good at. People talk about the pressure of being in the Play-Offs but I don’t understand it.

“There are no problems for me. We are here to work and we are very lucky people because we work in football. We need to enjoy it.”
