Earlier today, Walsall Football Club announced two pre-season friendlies as they prepare for the 2016/17 English Football League campaign.
The Saddlers will travel to Damson Park to play recently promoted Vanarama National League side Solihull Moors on Saturday, 16th July (3.00pm kick-off), in what will be the first ever meeting between the two sides.
The club will then host Sky Bet Championship opposition in the form of near neighbours Birmingham City on Tuesday, 19th July (7.30pm kick-off). The Blues last made the short trip up the M6 to play the Saddlers in pre-season back in 2007.
