THE RUMOUR MILL | Walsall Linked with Kidderminster Harriers Midfielder?

With the 2016/17 Sky Bet League One campaign still over two-months away, John Whitney's Walsall continue to be linked with several summer signings. The latest of which appears unlikely to be true.

The latest player to be linked with a move to the Banks's Stadium is Kidderminster Harriers' 22-year-old Paris-born midfielder, Ousmane Fané.

Fané, who is also rumoured to be attracting interest from Sky Bet Championship sides Birmingham City and Derby County, joined the Harriers from Norwegian side Lyn Oslo in January, and went on to make around twenty first-team appearances for the recently relegated side.

Despite reports to the contrary, Ousmane, who lists French sides Racing Colombes and GSI Pontivy among his previous clubs, signed a contract extension just over a month into his initial short-term deal and could be set to remain at Aggborough until at least the end of the 2016/17 campaign.
