Following Sunday afternoon's Sky Bet League 1 victory over Port Vale, which saw the Saddlers secure third place in the table, attention turned to Banks's Stadium and the 2015/16 End of Season Awards.
Following Sunday afternoon's Sky Bet League 1 victory over Port Vale, which saw the Saddlers secure third place in the table, attention turned to Banks's Stadium and the 2015/16 End of Season Awards.

The doors to the Stadium Suite opened at 7:00pm, with dinner being served just over an hour later. Club Chaplain Peter Hart said grace before guests were treated to a four course meal, prepared by the Banks's Stadium's award winning chefs.

Following the meal, and speeches from Head of Youth Neil Woods, First-Team Coaches Neil Cutler and Dean Holden along with Interim Head Coach Jon Whitney, the awards ceremony got underway, here are the results;

Pride of Walsall FC Award | Owen Richards

Community Player of the Season Award | Romaine Sawyers

Long Service Award | Vicki Chambers

Fan of the Season Award | Richard Andrews

Goal of the Season | Romaine Sawyers (v Blackpool - 29th August 2015)

Apprentice of the Season Award | Jordon Sangha

Players' Player of the Season Award | Adam Chambers

Young Player of the Year | Rico Henry

Player of the Season Award | Adam Chambers

Lifetime Achievement Award | Kenny Mower
