Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw has spoken to the local press ahead of this afternoon's Sky Bet League 1 Play-Off Semi Final First Leg clash with Barnsley, and has discussed his belief that the Saddlers will go on to achieve promotion.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Tom said; “We are full of confidence going into the play-offs. I think we will come out of it with promotion. We have won five of our last seven games which is great form and the team with the best form going into the play-offs often comes out the winners. Barnsley are a very good side going forward and a good side in general. But they are a footballing side and we back ourselves against any footballing side.
“We know we can beat anyone on our day and we will take that belief into the Barnsley game. All four teams are good sides. We struggled against Bradford a few weeks back but that happens in football. Occasionally you get a bad day at the office and that was a bad day at the office for us. But we bounced back very well – winning three on the bounce.
“Despite missing out on automatic promotion, our belief hasn’t been dented. We still believe we are going to go up. We know if we perform how we know we can then we will make the final.”
