With Amadou Bakayoko out with an injury, Jordan Murphy is now enjoying a solo loan spell with Worcester. Murphy, who has been on the bench for the last few games, was named among the starting XI as City travelled to Keys Park looking to bounce back from last weekend's defeat at the hands of Stockport County.

The game was a competitive affair, with both sides creating plenty of chances in front of goal, but it was Jordan Murphy's third-minute strike that proved enough to secure all three points despite plenty of late pressure on Nathan Vaughan's goal.

The goal came as veteran striker Lee Hughes flicked on a long ball to Murphy, who evaded his marker before firing past Pitmen goalkeeper Dan Crane.

The result sees Worcester, who travel to Bradford Park Avenue at the weekend, move themselves into thirteenth position, and further clear of the Vanarama National League (North) relegation zone as the games begin to run out.
