Walsall midfielder Romaine Sawyers has today been named on the shortlist for this season's Sky Bet League 1 Player of the Year Award.
24-year-old, Birmingham born Sawyers, who has been nominated alongside Bradley Dack of Gillingham and Nicky Ajose of Swindon Town, has won plaudits across the division and beyond for his dominant midfield displays throughout the season.
