Later this morning, Neil Woods' Walsall Under 18s side will make the short trip to the Shrewsbury Sports Village as they take on Shrewsbury Town Under 18s in the latest Football League Youth Alliance (North West) fixture of the season.

The young second-placed Saddlers' most recent match took place last month and saw them defeat Accrington Stanley by six-goals-to-one as Cameron Peters (2), Brendan Pooni (2), Maziar Kouhyar, and Nathan Owen all scored to secure three points away from home.

Fourth placed Shrewsbury's most recent match took place last weekend and saw them defeated late into second half stoppage time as a 95th minute penalty secured a 3-2 win for Bury. The Shakers went into a two goal lead within the opening ten minutes of play but an Ethan Jones brace to put the Shrews back on level terms before the controversial conclusion.

GETTING TO THE GAME
Today's match is scheduled to kick off at 11:00am and will take place at the Shrewsbury Sports Village on Sundorne Road in Shrewsbury (SatNav - SY1 4RQ)
