Earlier this evening, Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw was named on the bench as Chris Coleman's Wales side faced Ukraine in their second and final game of the latest round of international fixtures ahead of Euro 2016.

Wales, who took around 450 supporters to a chilly Kiev, enjoyed a good start to the match, and had the lionshare of the opening spells of attacking and midfield play as several members of the team look to cement their place in the squad for the upcoming European Championships.

Despite their early dominance, Wales fell behind after twenty-eight minutes of the first half, as Dynamo Kiev striker Andriy Yarmolenko slammed home from close range following a poorly dealt with freekick.

There were no further goals during the rest of the first half, and the second period started a little slower than the first, with the match becoming a little scrappy from time to time.

With a little under twenty-minutes of the second half remaining, and with his side still trailing by one-goal-to-nil, Head Coach Chris Coleman made one of his many second half changes as Tom Bradshaw replaced Cardiff City's on-loan Leicester City striker Tom Lawrence.

Ahead of the match, Shrewsbury-born Bradshaw, who missed the Dragons' draw with Northern Ireland on Friday evening with a slight injury, was yet to make a full international appearance despite scoring at almost a goal every two games for the last two seasons.

Tom had a few touches, and showed plenty of his movement as his team prodded and probed the Ukraine defence, taking control of the latter stages of the game.

Bradshaw almost set up a goal as he directed a cross into the middle of the area, late on, Sam Vokes could only head wide with little time to react.

As the match reached injury time, Tom rose highest to meet a corner kick, the 'keeper got down well and grasped the ball at the first time of asking. A good display from Bradshaw on his international debut.
