Walsall Football Club have today completed the loan signing of Huddersfield Town striker Jordy Hiwula on a deal until the end of the season.

Jordy, who enjoyed a successful loan spell at the Banks's Stadium last season, joined the Terriers on a three-year undisclosed deal from Manchester City during the summer but failed to make an impact at the John Smith's Stadium and has spent much of the 2016/17 campaign with the Saddlers' Sky Bet League 1 rivals Wigan Athletic, where he scored six goals in nine starts and seven substitute appearances.

Hiwula was set to remain with Wigan until the end of the season but was recalled on 1st February and has been in contention for his parent team ever since.

The Manchester-born striker will be available for selection this weekend as the Saddlers look to get back to winning ways against Barnsley.
