Recently returned Walsall loanee Jordy Hiwula, who has found his first-team opportunities limited since joining Huddersfield Town in the summer, has spoken to club journalists and discussed his desire to get back on the pitch and show what he can do.

Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Jordy said; “I’m really pleased to be back. It actually feels like I’ve never been away. Everyone has been welcoming and it’s been easy for me to settle in because I know pretty much all the players.

“I scored within four minutes of coming on for my debut last time. That was a good start and I ended up doing well here. That’s why I wanted to come back.

“Hopefully I can get a lot of game time here and will get a chance tomorrow. I want to be out there and showing what I can do. When I play, I’ll work hard and try to do well for the team.

“I signed for Huddersfield in the summer and I didn’t feel like I’d get as much game time as I wanted. I thought it would be best to go out on loan. Wigan came in and I ended up going there. I felt I did well there. I was in and out of the team but I worked hard and it was good to go there and get some experience.”
