Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw, who earned his first senior international cap during Wales' friendly against Ukraine, has spoken to club journalists and described his 18 minute substitute appearance as an 'unbelievable experience'.

Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Tom said; “It was an unbelievable experience just to be involved with the squad going into the Euros. It was great to be with lads and to train with them. To come on was a bonus.

“I didn’t train until Saturday because of a slight hamstring issue but I’d heard in interviews with the gaffer that he was going to try to get me on. I was confident going into the game and then when he brought me on, it was just a great experience.

“In the 18 minutes I played I tried to do everything I could. I worked hard and tried to get on the ball. I felt like I did everything I could in the time I was given. It would have been nice to get a goal but I was just happy to get on the pitch and to do myself justice.”
