Wigan Athletic's former Walsall striker Will Grigg, who has bagged thirteen goals so-far this season, has spoken to club journalists ahead of Saturday's top-of-the-table clash, and paid tribute to the Saddlers, insisting that he expected them to be doing well this season.
Speaking via WiganLatics.co.uk, Will said; “It is always nice to go back to your old club. I have done it a few times but the last time I did was probably the best because I scored, even though we drew. It was nice to get a goal and I’ll try and do that again on Saturday.
“I expected Walsall to be doing well this season. It’s a great club, they’ve got a great setup and, though the management has changed, I still knew they would do really well with the players they have.
“It’ll be a tight game; they’ll play similarly to how they did at the DW and they’ll like to keep the ball and move it quickly in a similar manner to ourselves.”
