Walsall defender Jason Demetriou has spoken to the local media ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Crewe Alexandra, and has compared his side with Premier League table toppers Leicester City, insisting that the two teams have a similar spirit.
Speaking to BBC WM's Richard Wilford, Jason said; "They've got great characters and good team spirit. And that's one of the main things we've got here. Added to our ability, our togetherness has been fantastic from the first day and is still strong.
"That's 60 or 70% of it and we've got that in abundance. We think we're the one of the better teams in this league. But we've always been kind of under the radar. A lot of people have been expecting us to slip away but we've managed to do well and stay up there."
