Walsall striker Amadou Bakayoko, who is currently enjoying a loan spell with Vanarama National League North side Worcester City, has spoken to club journalists and discussed his desire to keep on developing and help Worcester to move forward.

Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Amadou said; “I came here to get experience and to get my goals back up and I’ve been doing that lately. I feel really good where I am right now. I’m on a good little run at the moment and it’s given me a lot of confidence.

"It’s been very beneficial coming here and I feel I’m improving all the time. I just want to keep developing every single game. I feel very confident and I just want to keep this up."

Amadou also discussed the benefits of having fellow Saddler Jordan Murphy on loan with the same club, he said; "It was Jordan who convinced me to join Worcester. He told me about how good the club was and he’s not been wrong at all. It’s good having him here. We’ve been playing with each other for a while now, although it’s a bit different at Worcester because Jordan tends to play out wide and we’re used to playing up front together.

"We always encourage each other in games so it’s good to have someone you know around. I want to help this team move forward. Everyone works really well and we’ve got some great footballers. I’m enjoying my time here.”
