Later today, Walsall Football Club's Under 18s side will return to Football League Youth Alliance (North West) action as they play host to Rochdale at Ray Hall Lane.

Neil Woods' Saddlers are third in the FLYA, and haven't played a league game since mid-December. His side will be keen to kick off the New Year with a win as they hope to bridge the gap between them and league leaders Wigan Athletic, who are seven points clear of the Reds heading into the latest round of games.

Dale's under 18s side, who sit in tenth position in the Alliance table, were last in action on Saturday, 9th January, picking up a point from a goalless draw with Tranmere Rovers.

Today's match is set to kick off at 11:00am and will take place at the Birmingham County Football Association Headquarters on Ray Hall Lane in Great Barr.
