
Walsall Football Club are understood to be 'close' to agreeing terms on a loan extension for Manchester City midfielder George Evans, who has enjoyed a successful spell since arriving at the Banks's Stadium in October.
Earlier today the Express & Star's Walsall reporter Joseph Masi took to Twitter to reveal that an Head Coach Sean O'Driscoll believes that an agreement is near despite interest from several Sky Bet Championship teams, including Dean Smith's Brentford.

The 21-year-old, Cheadle born midfielder, has made over ten first-team appearances for the Saddlers and has become a firm favourite among the club's supporters.
