Reading manager Brian McDermott has spoken to the press ahead of this weekend's Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round clash between his Royals side and Walsall, and has insisted that Saddlers striker Tom Bradshaw is not on his list of transfer targets.
McDermott, who recently returned to the Madejski Stadium following the sacking of Steve Clarke, said; "I haven’t thought about Tom. I know him - I’ve watched him a couple of times. There’s been speculation about Tom and I think he’s a good player. But Tom is a Walsall player.
"He’s someone I like but he hasn’t particularly been on our radar. Tom’s a good player. He’s a box player, he can score, hold the ball up well. He’s a player we have to have the utmost respect for.”
