Walsall Captain Adam Chambers has today been named among the nominees for the Sky Bet Football League's 'Player of the Month Award' for December 2015.
The Football League's article states that Adam, who is nominated alongside Tom Aldred (Blackpool), Jon McLaughlin (Burton Albion), and Andy Williams (Doncaster Rovers) is an immense presence as Walsall adjusted to life without former manager Dean Smith. He was the glue that held his side together, protecting a back four that conceded just one goal all month and driving forward to start attacks.
The winner will be announced on Friday.
