Walsall Head Coach Sean O'Driscoll has spoken to the local press ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Blackpool, and has discussed his desire to get the best out of his squad as he continues to learn more about what his players can and can't do.

Speaking via the Express & Star, Sean said; “Whoever comes in and sits at the top of a football club has a big responsibility to the players. What you do affects people – you think it doesn’t, but it does. I have got to ask ‘what do you they think of me as a manager and what we are trying to do?’

“With managers it’s usually my way or the highway – if you are going to get the sack you might as well do it the way you want to do it. The important thing though is to look at the players, get to know them and think how to get the best out of them.”
