On Monday afternoon several national newspapers and websites linked local rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers with a swoop for Walsall defender Rico Henry and striker Tom Bradshaw, with the duo continuing to earn plaudits for their solid displays for the promotion-chasing Saddlers.

However Walsall Head Coach Sean O'Driscoll has since spoken to the local press as he prepares his side for this weekend's Emirates FA Cup clash with Reading, and insisted that he is not aware of any clubs making contact.

Speaking via the Express & Star, Sean said; “I am unaware of any enquiry or approach for any of our players. If I were, I would inform the appropriate player straight away before anyone else.”
