According to media reports, Walsall left-back Rico Henry is set to become the target of a transfer bid from Sky Bet Championship side Burnley, as the Clarets hope to get a jump on the increasing number of sides currently scouting the Birmingham-born starlet.
TeamTalk.com reports; "Burnley are ready to firm up their interest in the exciting left-back by making a move for Henry during this month’s transfer window.
"Burnley boss Sean Dyche is keen to bolster his side’s defensive options as he looks to mount a bid for promotion back to the Premier League and is thought to have Henry one of his top targets."
As reported earlier today, Rico, who is under contract until at least the summer of 2018, is understood to be on the radar of several sides including; Birmingham City, Brighton and Hove Albion, Derby County, and Wolverhampton Wanderers, with Premier League clubs such as Leicester City, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur among the teams also said to be taking a look at the Centre of Excellence graduate.
