Walsall Football Club have confirmed that Manchester City have terminated the loan agreement between the two clubs for midfielder George Evans.

In a statement, released via Saddlers.co.uk, the club confirm; "Manchester City FC have today terminated the loan spell of George Evans with immediate effect.

"The 21-year old returns to the Etihad having made 16 appearances for the Saddlers, scoring four goals. He will not feature in today's game with Bury.
