Walsall Football Club attacking midfielder Romaine Sawyers has spoken to the media and revealed that he will wait until the end of the season before deciding on his footballing future.

According to ClubCall, Romaine, who is the subject of increasing transfer speculation, will remain with the Saddlers until his contract expires the summer before considering possible moves elsewhere.

The article, which was written by former Express & Star correspondent Nick Mashiter, suggests that the Club are currently negotiating with the 24-year-old former West Bromwich Albion youth product, and are keen to tie him down to a longer-term deal.

However Romaine is keen on a move to the Sky Bet Championship after almost three seasons in League 1 with the Saddlers.

Walsall are keen not to sell in January as they chase promotion but Sawyers' future is likely to hinge on which division they are in next season.
