As the January Transfer Window is set to open, several reports today suggest that Barclays Premier League giants Manchester United are preparing to make a move for Walsall Football Club's highly-rated left-sided defender, Rico Henry.
The Football League World website suggests that a source close to the Saddlers has confirmed that the club are expecting a bid from the Old Trafford outfit, who join several other clubs in the chase for the Birmingham-born starlet.
The report, which you can read here, states; "Manchester United have a history of recruiting young players from the Football League and they are hoping to make Henry the latest youngster to arrive at Old Trafford.
"With an serious injury picked up by let-back Luke Shaw earlier this season, Louis van Gaal is on the lookout for a new left-sided defender and Henry could find himself in contention for a place in the first team should he move to Manchester."
