New Date Set for Fleetwood Town Trip

Walsall Football Club have confirmed that their Sky Bet League 1 clash with Fleetwood Town, which was due to take place last Saturday, will now be played on Tuesday, 26th January 2016, with kick off scheduled for 7:45pm.

In a statement released via Saddlers.co.uk, the club confirm; "The club can today confirm that our postponed Sky Bet League One fixture with Fleetwood Town will now take place on Tuesday 26th January, 7.45pm kick-off.

"The initial match, scheduled for 12th December, was called off due to adverse weather conditions and a waterlogged pitch.

"The Saddlers will once again make the trip up to Lancashire looking for a repeat of our FA Cup victory over the Cod Army earlier in the season.

"The Saddlers are unbeaten in all five outings between the two sides with four victories and one draw.

"Tickets for the initial fixture can be used for the rearranged date. The club will otherwise provide a full refund from the Banks's Stadium from Tuesday 15th December."
