During the conference Walsall Chief Executive Stefan Gamble revealed that over one-hundred people applied for the position, while O'Driscoll, who has penned an eighteen-month contract, insisted that club Chairman Jeff Bonser is 'desperate' for the club to achieve promotion to the Championship.
