Following an inspection by match officials, Walsall Football Club's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Fleetwood Town, which was due to take place at Highbury Stadium, has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Referee Scott Duncan confirmed; "I've had a good look at the pitch and arrived early at 11.45 where I spoke to the groundsman. There's a lot of standing water on the pitch which is dangerous, and we've got to look at the game as a spectacle. If we do play a game in conditions like these you could end up losing two or three fixtures in the future."
