Ahead of this evening's Sky Bet League 1 clash between Swindon Town and Walsall, Saddlers striker Tom Bradshaw has spoken to the local press and discussed his desire to bag more goals following his strike against Sheffield United, which ended a six-game goal-less streak.

Speaking to the Express & Star, Tom said; “As a striker I love getting goals. It’s my passion, it’s what I love doing. I’ve had one of those spells where it wasn’t quite dropping for me but against Sheffield United it did and these things tend to come in spells.

“I went a few games without a goal but that can happen sometimes. It’s possible to score five or six in four games, another time you can go on a run when you don’t score. Hopefully now I’m at the start of a run.

“I back myself to score whether it’s one game or five games without scoring. You have to put it into perspective and scoring 10 before December is quite an achievement but I’ll keep striving to score more.

"I’ve said before, the target for any striker first and foremost is to get to 15. Hit that target. “When that comes, I’ll be reassessing but I think you’ve got to be realistic in football.”
