On Wednesday evening a young Walsall Football Club XI travelled to the DCS Stadium as they took on Stratford Town in the Second Round of this season's Birmingham Senior Cup.

The Saddlers, who defeated Rugby Town on penalties in the First Round, were knocked out of the competition thanks to second-half goals from Aaron Moses-Garvey and Charlie Faulkner which were more than enough to see the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division side through to the next stage.
