On Saturday morning, Walsall Football Club's Under 18s side travelled North to Colliers Park to take on Wrexham Under 18s in the second round of this season's Football League Youth Alliance Cup.

Sadly, the young Saddlers crashed out of the competition, losing 2-1 to the Dragons, as Kyle King's second half strike was not enough to overcome two first-half Leroy Jennings goals, the hosts second-year scholar having an impressive opening forty-five minutes.

Wrexham advance to the third round, while Walsall look ahead to next weekend's trip to Rochdale, as Neil Woods' side seek to bounce back from a 3-0 league defeat to Blackpool last weekend.
