Earlier today, Walsall Football Club's Reserves side travelled to Colliers Park to take on Wrexham in the latest Final Third Development League (West) fixture of the season.
Walsall, who are managed by John Ward, fielded a side with several members of the Under 18s squad alongside professionals Kyle Rowley, Jordan Murphy and Amadou Bakayoko.
The first half of the match was a largely uneventful affair, with both sides looking to establish their passing game.
The first corner of the tie didn't arrive until the fifty-third minute, and Walsall would soon grab the opening goal of the game via Jordon Sangha. The midfielder lashing the ball home following a left-wing cross.
The Saddlers would hold firm and collect all three points as their Development League season continues.
