Walsall goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray has spoken to club journalists following Saturday afternoon's Sky Bet League 1 victory over Burton Albion, and has discussed the Saddlers' solid performance, insisting; "We're a force to be reckoned with."
Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Craig said; “We played really well, especially in the first half. In the second half we had to grind it out but people watching that game will have seen that we’re a force to be reckoned with this season.
“Every single person on the pitch put an absolute shift in. It was brilliant for me as a keeper because they protected me so well. It was a massive relief for me personally. It sets me up now and hopefully it will give the gaffer a selection headache for next week.
“Overall, it was a brilliant result against a good Burton team and it was nice to go top of the league again.”
