Walsall top-scorer Tom Bradshaw has spoken to the club's official journalists ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Chesterfield, and has insisted that Captain Adam Chambers is the glue that holds the team together.
Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Tom said; “He’s key to us. The gaffer has played him in a slightly deeper role this year and he’s the one who keeps recycling the play.
“He’s a bit of an unsung hero because he doesn’t necessary score goals and bag a screamer from 30 yards. But he’s key to what we do and without him we wouldn’t be anywhere near as effective. He’s our captain and the glue that holds us all together.”
