According to media reports, Walsall Football Club are hoping to complete a loan swoop for Manchester City starlet Ellis Plummer.
The 21-year-old, who joined City from Stockport County in 2006, can play as a central defender or at left full-back, and has yet to make a senior appearance for City.
Since joining City, Plummer has had two loan spells; He spent a month with the Saddlers' Sky Bet League 1 rivals Oldham Athletic in 2013, where he made justfour appearances, and last season he joined Scottish Premiership side St Mirren on an initial season-long loan, which was cut short after he had made seven appearances.
HITC report that Ellis will be joining up with the Saddlers for training before hopefully completing a loan switch shortly thereafter.
