Walsall Football Club have taken 20-year-old former Almere City, FC Dordrecht and ADO Den Haag central defender Sem de Wit on trial as manager Dean Smith seeks to add numbers to his squad.

Sem has been named among the Saddlers' reserves XI as they take on Port Vale at the club's Essington Training Ground.

He made almost thirty league appearances for Almere before joining Dordrecht in 2014, he swiftly moved on to Den Haag and was sent on two loan spells, the most successful of which was with Fortuna Sittard, where he would make fifteen appearances.
