Later today, Walsall Football Club's Under 18s side play host to Blackpool in the latest Football League Youth Alliance (North West) fixture of the season.
Neil Woods' side are currently undefeated in the league, having won four and drawn one of their opening five games, and head into this weekends' clash on the back of a 2-0 win over Carlisle United, a brace from long-term absentee Kyle King keeping the Saddlers' run going.
Blackpool, who sit in fourth position in the league, one place below the Saddlers, arrive at the game following a three-one victory over much fancied Burnley. A Kit Gregory Treble securing the victory for Blackpool Academy manager Ciaran Donnelly's side.
Today's game, which is scheduled to kick off at 12:00pm, will take place at the Birmingham Football Associations Headquarters on Ray Hall Lane in Great Barr (B43 6JE).
