Walsall winger Anthony Forde has spoken to the local press following Saturday afternoon's Sky Bet League 1 draw with Crewe Alexandra, and, along with discussing his desire to both create and score more goals from set pieces has insisted that on any other day, the Saddlers would've won by four or five goals.

Speaking to Joseph Masi of the Express & Star, Anthony said; "We have been working hard on corners. It’s a big bonus if you can score from set pieces. If we can get better at it that has to help us because in play we always create chances. Just before we took the lead, I was walking over and I said to Tom go front post. Luckily, it worked.

“But we had an awful lot of corners and I think at times we could have attacked them better. We could have scored two or three from set pieces. I just don’t know how we ended up drawing. We definitely deserved to win. On another day it would have been four or five-nil. Easily.

"I was was delighted to back in the side. I got an assist from the corner but I was disappointed I didn’t score because I had a few chances. I was pleased with my performance but more pleased because it was a good team performance.”
