Liam Roberts Set For Gresley Loan Switch

Gresley Football Club Vice-Chairman Keith Milner has this afternoon confirmed the loan signing of young Walsall Football Club goalkeeper Liam Roberts, following a successful loan spell during the 2014/15 campaign.

Gresley Football Club Vice-Chairman Keith Milner has this afternoon confirmed the loan signing of young Walsall Football Club goalkeeper Liam Roberts, following a successful loan spell during the 2014/15 campaign.

The 20-year-old, who recently penned a new deal with the Saddlers, joined the Evo-Stik Northern Premier - First Division side in January 2014 and went on to have a solid spell, earning many plaudits from the local press.

Liam, who suffered a shoulder injury towards the end of last season, progressed well last season and could be set to feature against Basford United this coming Saturday afternoon.
