The Football League have today revealed the regional groups and byes for the early stages of the 2015/16 Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Walsall are joined in the North (West) section by Accrington Stanley, Bury, Carlisle United, Morecambe, Oldham Athletic, Port Vale and Shrewsbury Town.

Blackpool, Crewe Alexandra, Fleetwood Town and Wigan Athletic have all received byes to the next round.

The draw for Round 1 of this season's competition takes place on Saturday, 8th August.
