On Sunday afternoon the Walsall Football Supporters' Trust's Walsall Legends side took on Bescot United in a match which was in memory of Stephen Sutton, and in aid of The Teenage Cancer Trust.
It was a routine victory for the Legends, who quickly recovered from two successive defeats, notching eleven goals to Bescot United's one.
Brian Palgrave scored a first half hat trick, this was joined by a second half Craig Zecevic triple, while Marcus Moreton and Mark Taylor both notched braces and former Saddlers youth prospect Sean Geddes also chipped in with a goal.
