Walsall Football Club summer signing Neil Etheridge has spoken to the local press and discussed fellow 'keeper Craig MacGillivray, revealing that he and Craig are pushing each other to improve as they compete for a starting place.
Speaking to Joseph Masi of the Express & Star, Neil said; “I’ve been very impressed with Craig. There is competition for the place, he played towards the end of last season and I know he is very hungry.
“Off the field we are getting on fantastically well. We have done a lot of work in the gym and we are both pushing one another to be the best we can be. He’s slightly younger than me but is very eager.”
