Earlier this evening music icon Sir Elton John took to the stage at Walsall's Banks's Stadium as he continues his latest world tour, as the concert neared it's end Elton spoke to the crowd and thanked the Saddlers for being so welcoming.
Elton said; "Thank you Walsall Football Club for making me so welcome. I hope you have a fabulous season."
He also thanked the club for selling striker Troy Deeney to his beloved Watford, a deal that Elton is said to have funded himself having decided that Troy was the man to get goals for the Hornets.
Elton's next gig is on Sunday evening at the Westmorland County Showground near Kendal.
