Walsall manager Dean Smith has once again spoken to the local press ahead of next week's return to training, and has revealed that he plans to loan out some of his young stars, with Reece Flanagan, Liam Kinsella, Jordan Murphy, Liam Roberts and Matt Preston likely to have spells away from the club.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said; "It worked very well for us last season, it’s about making sure they are playing games.
“There was a lot of them who had good moves and came back stronger. Morris went to Wrexham and came back a much better player and he is now part and parcel of our first team squad.
“We are looking at players going out, certainly the younger players to get some experience for when we need them.”
