Following the news that club captain Adam Chambers has agreed a new one-year deal with Walsall Football Club, manager Dean Smith spoke to the local press and discussed Adam's brother James, revealing that he may not agree terms.
Speaking to the
Express & Star, Smith said; “The situation with James Chambers is a strange one. Adam has agreed his deal but James has got an interest away from football and that has deterred him from signing.
“I’ve told James the club can’t just be sitting around waiting for him, we have to move forward. It’s still an ongoing thing but it means now I’m out there looking for another centre-back.”
