Young Walsall Football Club central defender Matt Preston has today put-pen-to-paper on a new one-year deal with the Banks's Stadium club.
The 20-year-old, Birmingham born defender originally penned an 18-month contract in January 2013, the contract included an extension option in the clubs favour, however they have chosen to waive that clause and present Matt with a new deal.
Preston was ever-present for the Saddlers' Reserves next season and is expected to make the step up to first-team action in the very near future.
