With thanks to Express and Star chief photographer Tim Thursfield, above is a snapshot of just some of the shirts, scarves, flags and flowers that are covering the car park, with supporters wishing to lay their own tribute having until Friday afternoon to do so.

Earlier today Walsall Football Club released a statement confirming that they will work with the family as they begin the healing process, as well as paying tribute to the football family, they said; "It is at times like this when the football family really comes together and we have been overwhelmed by the messages of condolence that we have received from all around the World."
